Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones, better well-known as Suranne Jones, is an actor and producer hailing who hails from England. Suranne Jones has been an actor and producer from the UK. She gained fame playing Ruth Slater, the detective in the police procedural "Scott & Bailey and along with Gemma Foster, the GP in a medical drama 'Doctor Foster.' Born in Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Jones was a member of the Oldham Theatre Workshop and received her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts from them. The stage was her first experience for Jones at the age of eight older, and was the lead character Gloria in a production of 'Wait Until Dark'. The first time she appeared on screen was at the age of 17 in a 1997 episode of 'Coronation Street'. In 2000, she was reintroduced on the soap opera to play Karen McDonald. Then, she was cast in various TV roles, including 'Vincent,"Strictly confidential," and "Harley Street.' Also, she appeared on the big screen in films like "Love and a Longshot Broken Hearts', 'Love and a Long Shot'' and 'A Christmas Star.
